Boy Stops On The Way To School To Hug Two Stray Dogs In Heartwarming Video

Although we can often see some negative or at least upsetting consequences to the fact that everyone has a video camera in their phones, this shift in technology has also allowed people to capture some truly adorable moments.

Sometimes, we can get an affirming look into how some kids get along and how much love they have for each other. And every now and then, a trail camera will catch a similarly deep friendship develop between animals.

And of course, the less aware our new friends are of the cameras around them, the more natural the precious moments they share together are. And that’s why so many people are now falling in love with the way one little boy treated a couple of dogs on his way to school.

Recently, someone in Grozny, Chechnya took a video of a young boy named Ibrahim as he walked past their house.

And while it seemed he had intended to take a direct route to school, he felt the need to make a brief stop when he saw a pair of stray dogs milling about by the side of the road. As we can see, he then knelt down next to these dogs and gave one of them a big hug.

Although stray dogs aren’t always so trusting of people who try to get as close to them as Ibrahim did, this one seemed to recognize what a gentle soul he is and stood patiently as the boy pulled it into an embrace.
Although the other dog seemed content to groom itself while this affection went on, it soon became clear that Ibrahim didn’t want it to feel unloved either.

So while he still had a hand on the first dog’s fur, he reached over to pet the smaller one for a moment before getting up to resume his walk.

But he soon made it obvious that he wasn’t able to stay away from the dogs for long.

As we can see in the video here, he hesitated while walking away and soon returned to lean over and wrap his arms around the larger dog’s neck.

A friend of his family named Katerina spoke to The Dodo and said this scene lined up with her own experiences with Ibrahim.

In her words, “He goes to school with my daughter and helps her carry her bag. He’s a very kind boy.”
